The Nothing Phone 2 features a dual rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel main camera using an f/1.9 Sony IMX890 sensor and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera with an f/2.2 Samsung JN1 sensor. One thing that disappointed me was that nothing should have included a telephoto lens.
Nothing claims that the camera can take data from eight different frames and merge them together. Photos are a bit slow to process, but they are loaded with details, sharpness, and very good color. The colors are vivid, and the white balance is consistently accurate. The skin tones are very good. However, the low-light performance could be better.

‘Nothing phone 2’ after sales and service This is my personal experience
My friend lives in a village 60 km away where deliveries take longer, so he orders the mobile to my address. According to Flipkart’s new rules, the delivery person unboxed the phone and showed it to me when delivering. I didn’t notice the problem with the phone while unboxing it because it was turned on. When my friend came and inserted his SIM card into the phone, it didn’t get any network. I tried with my SIM card and even after trying four different SIM cards, the phone still didn’t get any network.
My friend became frustrated seeing the phone’s condition, and we took it to the service center. The service center staff examined the phone, tried to fix it, and asked us to wait. Even after waiting 2-2.5 hours, they could not fix the problem. Then they make us sign some paperwork and release us with a Job Sheet printout. They kept the phone with them and told us they would call as soon as it was fixed.
After that, we went back to our homes. After returning home, my friend made a phone call to the service center and took out his frustration by rudely behaving with the staff. But, the service center staff responded politely. After three days, the service center informed us that they had failed to repair the phone and would be replacing it with a new one.
They instructed us to go to the service center to collect the new phone. As soon as I got the call, I went to the service center, but my friend didn’t come with me that day. My friend had an important task that day, so he could not go with me that day. He asked me, ‘Brother, please receive the phone, and if possible, deliver it to my house.’
When I reached the service center, they gave me the new phone and told me to unbox it there. They switched on the phone, inserted the SIM card, and showed me that everything was working properly. The phone was working perfectly. This was my experience with the after-sales service from ‘Nothing Company.’ Overall, I’m happy with the after-sales service from ‘Nothing Company,’ and the staff’s behavior was very pleasant. In one word, 10 out of 10.
Final Verdict
The Nothing Phone 2 offers a user experience that’s truly unique in the current smartphone market. The transparent design and glyph lights, combined with Nothing OS, offer a truly unique user experience. Nothing is an experimental brand, much like Apple. However, this phone is not made for everyone. It’s meant for people who love unique designs and want to stand out from the crowd.
If it did not miss a telephoto camera, the Nothing Phone 2 would deliver great value. It’s perfect for users who value uniqueness and new ideas more than common features. This phone isn’t for everyone, but if you’re looking for something different, the Nothing Phone 2 is a worthy consideration.
